Drive Premium Guard Gel Overlay

Add an extra layer of pressure redistribution and comfort with the Drive Premium Guard Gel Overlay. Designed for use on top of a mattress, this gel-and-foam overlay helps support users who are at risk for pressure ulcers while providing a more comfortable sleeping surface.     

The overlay features 15 gel bladders that cover the full patient contact area, helping distribute pressure more evenly. Its full-length, head-to-toe gel design is intended to reduce “bottoming out” and “pitting,” while the convoluted foam topper improves comfort and encourages better air circulation.   

For secure placement, four elastic corner straps help keep the overlay attached to the mattress. The urethane-coated nylon cover is both water resistant and vapor permeable, while the vinyl base is waterproof and stain resistant for easier care.  

The gel bladders contain a non-toxic aqueous gel with polystyrene beads designed to help minimize gel migration. The Premium Guard Gel Overlay is available in models supporting 300 to 500 lbs., depending on size, and meets TB117 flammability standards.
