The bed offers a 450-lb. total weight capacity with a 425-lb. resident weight capacity, along with an impressive height range from 7.8 inches to 30 inches. This low-to-high adjustment range allows the bed to be positioned closer to the floor when needed or raised to a more comfortable working height for caregiving.
An 8-function handheld pendant gives users and caregivers convenient control over positioning and includes Auto Contour functionality. Three DC motors help keep the bed level through true vertical lift, while four sealed bearings support smooth, quiet height adjustment.
The Prime Care P503 also includes an integrated 76-inch and 80-inch length extension, providing added flexibility without the need for a separate extension kit. Eight heavy-duty 3-inch casters allow the bed to roll at any height, with four locking casters and two caster guide locks for added control. A fixed wall bumper helps protect surrounding surfaces.
Optional assist rails, assist bars, and decorative bed ends allow the bed to be configured for additional support and a more residential appearance. Bed-end options are available in multiple styles and wood-grain laminate finishes.
