Every Helix installation is measured using a calibrated camera kit for digital accuracy, then built with highly durable steel and custom precision-bent rails. Its narrow profile mounts closer to the wall and handles tighter bends and radius curves, helping preserve more usable stairway space for other members of the household. The seat is designed with an updated cushion that allows riders to sit farther back, while a flat seat bottom, retractable seat belt, and non-skid footrest add comfort and support during everyday use.

The Helix supports up to 350 lbs., travels at up to 20 feet per minute, and can accommodate inclines up to 58 degrees. Depending on the configuration, standard rail lengths are available in 16-, 18-, and 24-foot options, with additional rail available for much longer and more complex staircases.

A full set of built-in safety features includes obstruction sensors, a seat swivel interlock, constant-pressure controls, an overspeed brake, and multiple limit switches. Optional features include an emergency stop button, key switch, additional call/send controls, extra charging stations, outdoor packages, and a choice of black or beige finishes.
