One of the standout features of the Pinnacle SL600 is its compact design. When folded, the stairlift measures just 10½ inches from the wall, helping keep the staircase open for other members of the household. Its patented helical worm gear and reinforced nylon polymer gear rack provide a smooth, reliable ride without requiring track lubrication, while the efficient drive system helps reduce energy use.

Comfort and safety are built into the design with an ergonomic control switch, padded armrests, a retractable seat belt, and an oversized folding footrest. The seat swivels at the upper landing so users can enter and exit while facing away from the staircase, helping make transfers more comfortable and secure.  

The SL600 supports users up to 350 lbs. and can accommodate track lengths from 15 ft. 6 in. to 70 ft. Two remote controls allow the stairlift to be called or sent from another floor, while obstruction sensors, an overspeed brake, and an LED alert system add additional layers of safety.    

For staircases where the lower rail could interfere with a doorway or walkway, an optional automatic folding rail can move the rail out of the way when the lift is not in use, helping keep landing areas clearer and reducing potential trip hazards.
